General Summary: An exempt supervisory position responsible for managing the daily operations of the medical office.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary. Ensures that office is staffed appropriately.
2. Participates in staff human resource planning including recruiting, hiring, orientation, development, supervision and evaluation of staff.
3. Establishes and maintains an efficient and responsive patient flow system.
4. Oversees and approves office supply inventory and that offices are opened and closed according to procedures.
5. Supports and upholds established policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control, and codes and requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Department Specific Job Duties:
1. May be requested to administratively support and assist the department chair as needed.

Education/Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years administrative experience, including one year of supervisory experience.
